Tom The Changi Lounge at JEWEL Singapore, is one of 2 landside lounges offered by Priority Pass in Singapore. We have actually visited this lounge 3 times before – not because it’s a great lounge (in fact it’s not) but because on our first time, we were more than 4 hours before departure and was not able to enter. The second time, when we were able to enter, breakfast was not yet available. The third time? There was food but was actually one of the worst in all the Priority Pass lounges in Singapore.
General Information of the Changi Lounge at JEWEL of Singapore Changi Airport
The following are some general information provided by the Priority Pass App. It is recommended to download the Priority Pass App if you intend to visit some airport lounges as it is typically more updated than the website itself. Plus, if you need directions to a particular Priority Pass lounge, there’s a nifty little map embedded within the app to guide you there as well (internet access required to use the app).

Location: Landside – The lounge is located in level 1 of JEWEL Changi Airport, near lift lobby E. It is opposite the early check-in counters of JEWEL.
Conditions:
– Children under 3 years are admitted free
– Maximum 3 hours stay
– Lounge is only accessible 4 hours before flight departure
– All Cardholders and guests are required to show a Boarding Pass with confirmed same-day travel for access to the lounge

Review of Changi Lounge Priority Pass Lounge at JEWEL Changi International Airport
As with all Priority Pass Lounges, you will have to present your boarding pass and passport together with your Priority Pass card for entry. Your guest will only need to present his/her boarding pass.
When we entered, we were impressed by the interior decor of Changi Lounge. Spacious and welcoming seats. Elegant lighting and colour combination as well. However, in the food department, there was much to be desired…
Food at Changi Lounge Priority Pass Lounge JEWEL Changi Airport Singapore
In the mornings, breakfasts only start after 6am. On our 2nd visit, we were slightly early and were not able to check out the food. Hence, we tried out the coffee machine – which happened to be out of order that morning…
However, we did not give up. To get the review for our readers (yes you!), we decided to visit for a third try, to sample food available at Changi Lounge…
For the third visit to Changi Lounge, we visited during dinner time. Hence, we were able to try out the complimentary beer that comes along with Priority Pass Holders. Unfortunately, we saw that our beer was poured out from a can, not draught beer – though the glass was classy.
As for the food, it was simply disappointing.
The spread was quite small. 2 fried items, a soup, a salad, a fried noodle, a fried rice, some nibbles and a western-styled tomato-based chicken. The selection was also a little wierd – oriental mains with the tomato-based chicken really didn’t match at all. Lastly, all the food was not palatable.
Hence, we did not finish the food and left after about 15 minutes in Changi Lounge.

Even if you have unlimited access to Priority Pass Lounges, you’d be better off checking out the airside priority pass lounges. For landside, the Haven by JetQuay, though not that great, is a more preferred option than Changi Lounge…
