Desaru Hotel With The Best Beach Access
Hotels in Desaru are not created equal. Not all hotels have direct access to the beach. Even if they do, they may not have the best part of the beach as there are areas that rocky features just off the beach. Not so at Anantara Desaru.
At Anantara Desaru, you can have direct access to the beach without crossing any roads or taking a shuttle. Just head to the infinity pool and right next to the beach. If you head to the beach and return back to the hotel, there are showering facilities right by the infinity pool. Then, you can continue to chill by the infinity pool. Simple. Also, we’ve noticed that most other hotels along the beach have either a couple of large rock or a stretch of rocky features. At Anantara, they just have pristine sand that meets the nice shallow waters. Perfect for a day out by the beach.

Desaru Hotel With The Private Adventure Waterpark Desaru Access
If you’re looking for a great time for the entire family at Adventure Waterpark Desaru, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru is the only hotel with private access to the theme park. Besides a private access that reduces travelling time between your hotel room and the waterpark (which equates to more time for fun), you’ll also be able to get a wristband that allows multiple re-entry. This gives you the option to head back to the room to rest for an hour, grab some lunch before returning in the afternoon to hit the rides again.

If food is one of the major considerations for a get-away, Sand & Sandals Desaru definitely checks all the boxes for a picky foodie holiday. Before Desaru Coast was developed, there was Lotus Desaru. Though it has been here for many years now, it still has its fair share of regular visitors because of the prices here. If you’re comparing hotels with rooms by the beach that has its own little water park as well as one of the most affordable massages along the Desaru Coast, the prices at Lotus Desaru is really as good as they get.

Best All-Round Hotel in Desaru
Then, there’s Westin Desaru – the hotel that we think has the best all-round offerings in Desaru. Not the cheapest but has the best balance of price and facilities. First off, the room. This time, we stayed at the Premier Sea View Room and it has one of the best sea views that we’ve been to in a really long while. Does bring back memories of our stay in Cancun. Of the hotels that we’ve visited, it has one of the best breakfast buffet options as well. Not only in terms of variety (which was rather extensive) but also in terms of taste. Loved the nasi lemak, fresh (and sweet) fruits as well as the pastry options from the bakery. Also, if you’re able to snag the right deal like we did, you’ll also be able to add on a couple’s massage for only an additional $100 – or $50 per pax. Relax as you drift off to dreamland at the Heavenly Spa…
