What we had at New Tech Park (NTP+) Foodies’ Clan
This time, we decided on the 3L Hoegaarden Tower ($25 nett). As the bar was not tended during lunch hours, you’ll have to approach the beverage stall to make your orders.
After taking our orders, the aunty headed over to the beer bar to fill up our 3L tower. In the mean time, we decided to grab some fried chicken + sweet & sour pork ($7.3) from Ipoh Taste (Economical Rice Stall) as well as a cold Dong Bei Cold Noodles ($7.8) from the noodles stall…
First of all, we must say that the Hoegaarden was legit. Tasted as rich as how it ought to be. Not diluted as some cheaper venues tend to be. Secondly, the food variety was pretty good. We particularly enjoyed the Dong Bei Cold noodles because of its chewy texture. The cold sour-ish soup base was also refreshing on a hot day. Just that this time, when we ordered, the buzzer didn’t activate. Probably due to our location, which was quite a distance away from the noodles stall. Which left us wondering why our noodles took so long. 🤔 For our readers to note if you’re seated at the bar and ordering from the noodles stall.
Conclusion
The cheap draft beer towers at Foodies’ Clan New Tech Park (NTP+) was enough to draw us to Lor Chuan. The variety of food choice was also a plus. Wanted to try Uncle Pancake during our visit but Uncle was not there. If you had tried it, do let us know in the comments section below as well!
