Secondly, the entire swimming pool was warm! Despite the cold sub-10 degrees Celsius temperatures in the evenings, we were able to enjoy a leisurely swim at the outdoor-heated pool of the hotel…

Lastly, the hotel, besides being a popular ski resort during winters, was also an excellent springboard to the amazing views that Lake Tahoe offers to visitors…

Next at number 9, Sunscape Splash Montego Bay, Jamaica. Our visits to the hotels in Jamaica were one of our first few experiences of an all-inclusive hotel. The visit was special because it was a visit to another continent (South America) for us but one event struck us. People in the streets actually knew about Mr Lee Kuan Yew – Singapore’s founding Prime Minister! Apparently, Mr Lee was friends with then Prime Minister of Jamaica, Mr Michael Manley and had visited Jamaica to learn from one of the most promising economies in the world then.

Whether you’re looking towards the hills during sunrise or towards the sea during sunsets, the views were simply amazing. We particularly enjoyed our breakfast and lunch by the waters and taking in the breath-taking views as we dine on the all-inclusive meals of the hotels. Then, of course, the food…

Besides the excellent food that the restaurants offered, we particularly loved the Jerk Chicken as well as Dirty Banana, a cocktail that we have come to enjoy.

At number 8, Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty. Located in the picturesque state of Kerala, also known locally as “god’s own country”, Grand Hyatt Kochi has the perfect backdrop for the location of a classy and luxurious hotel. What we really love is how posh the hotel is…

Once inside, you’ll be greeted by extensive views of the Kerala backwaters at the hotel’s lobby. The views also extends to the Grand Club Lounge Hyatt Kochi where you’ll be able to enjoy eggs benedict at the same time. The swimming pool is amazing and we completely enjoyed the luxurious experience at Santata Spa as well. Of course, the food was the other highlight for us…

You’ll be able to try out amazing mixed grilled platters at Colony Clubhouse, some of the best Thai Food we’ve had at Thai Soul and of course, the unbelievably flavourful and sweetest Karimeen Fry at Malabar Cafe.

Coming in at number 7, Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore. As you can see from the photo above, Pan Pacific Singapore has one of the best views of the Marina Bay in Singapore. Not only so, it has also one of the classiest Club Lounge that we’ve been to…

Not only are the furnishings modern, classy and comfortable, the Pacific Club of the Pan Pacific Singapore Hotel has some of the best views from a hotel, anywhere in Singapore. Located at Level 38, you’ll not only have views of the Singapore city skyline and the Marina Bay, you’ll also be able to walk around in a circular fashion (as the Pacific Club is fashioned like a “space ship”), offering 360 views around Singapore. Of course, the F&B offerings are superb as well…

At number 6, Jeju Shinhwa World Landing Resort. One of the reasons that we love Jeju Shinhwa World Landing Resort is because it is an integrated resort. Within, you’ll be able to find the usual facilities of hotels such as gym and swimming pool…

Not only that you’ll find shopping, dining, casino and even a theme park within…all your holiday needs can be found right here in the resort!

Best of all, if you’re a fan of G Dragon, there’s even a cafe called Untitled, 2017 cafe – designed by G Dragon himself!

Next, at number 5, Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa. If you’ve ever been to Hawaii, you’ll immediately be able to feel and experience the holiday vibe that all the islands exude. Particularly on Kauai, it felt like a “kampung” of sorts. Feral chickens are found everywhere as soon as we landed. But true to the Grand Hyatt branding, it was here that we experienced one of the most beautifully designed resort swimming pool…

There’s even a lazy pool within…

The premise is also HUGE with gardens and greenery surrounding the entire resort – making you feel so peaceful and tranquil all the time…

But of course, our favourite part of the restaurant is its in-house Luau that it organises every Wednesday and Saturday. You’ll be treated to not only amazing tastes of cocktails and food (the mai tai is still one of the best we’ve ever tasted) as well as visual performances, including the fire dance!

At number #4, Secrets the Vine Cancun. Probably one of the most luxurious all-inclusive, adults only in Mexico. The drinks flow freely and the sunshine drenches the deck chairs throughout the day…

It was here that we tasted one of the most fragrant tequila shots and tastiest Mojito cocktails. Also, the most unforgettable ceviche…

Of course, our favourite part of Secrets the Vine is definitely the luxurious vibe throughout the entire hotel…

We’re finally at the top 3 of our Top 10 Hotels to date. Coming in at number 3, Atlantis the Palm Dubai – one of the most recognisable hotels in the world. When we first entered the hotel, we were greeted by an exquisite Chihuly Glass Sculpture – the centre-piece of the hotel lobby…

The hotel also has direct access to Aquaventure as well as the Lost Chambers Aquarium…

One of the biggest “wow factor” has got to be its Imperial Club Lounge. Definitely the BIGGEST hotel lounge that we’ve ever visited. Have you have been to a two storey hotel club lounge that has three separate areas for buffets? 😮

At number 2, Fuji Kawaguchiko Onsen Hotel Konansou. In a short sentence, we were pampered…

At Fuji Kawaguchiko Onsen Hotel Konansou hotel, you’ll be able to enjoy views of Mount Fuji from many areas of the hotel. For instance, if you head up to the roof top, you’ll be able to soak in a foot bath while enjoying views of the majestic Mount Fuji…

You’ll also be able to enjoy the onsen of the hotel (yes, you’ll have to be naked as with how the locals do it), thereafter, enjoy you’ll be treated to a most exquisite Japanese meal that includes crabs, sashimi and some of the tastiest Japanese-styled noodles…

Of course, we also upped the ante and booked the room with an ensuite onsen. Within the privacy of our own room, we had beautiful views of Mount Fuji, while soaking in the skin-nourishing waters at Konansou.

Finally, we arrive at our top hotel of all time (in our opinion) – Ananti Hilton Busan. If you’ve ever been to Hilton Busan, you’ll understand why. At every corner that you turn to, there’s a spot to take a photo. In our opinion, it is probably the most instagrammable hotel in the world! Just check out some of these amazing views and structures all around the hotel. We’ll just let the pictures do the talking…

Of course, the room, the food and beverage options were top notch. The “walk-in” bathroom of our room was definitely one to remember. Imagine walking into the bathroom but the path never seems to end. You’ll walk past a walk-in wardrobe, the his/hers sinks and eventually to a bath tub with louvres that open up to views of the cliffs and sea…

Simply unforgettable…
