Ambassador Transit Lounge Changi Airport Terminal 3 Review: A Post-COVID Priority Pass Update

Ambassador Transit Lounge Terminal 3 Changi Airport Review

Having visited Ambassador Transit Lounge at Terminal 2 before, we had a pretty poor impression due to the poor quality of food we’ve had previously. This time, we visited Ambassador Transit at Terminal 3, hoping to erase this memory. Though it did improve a little, there’s still substantial room for improvement…

As with our previous visit, Ambassador Transit Lounge has not yet done away with its voucher and sticker system. Once you’re done with registration to enter the lounge, you’ll be required to put on a sticker to identify yourself as a guest to the lounge. Ambassador is probably the only lounge in Changi Airport to have this system in place. In addition, you can also see that there is a voucher on the table? Each visitor is given 2 vouchers for alcoholic drinks. This means that unlike SATS Premier Lounge and Marhaba Lounge, you can only have two alcoholic drinks here.

Again, the overall quality of food at Ambassador Transit Lounge, pales in comparison to SATS and Marhaba Lounge. The laksa was a tad too spicy and definitely loses out to the SATS signature laksa. As we were there during dinner hours of about 8pm, the food selection was not topped up promptly and seemed a little measly.

As for the ambience, it was brightly litted but was definitely smaller in size as compared to SATS and Marhaba. Overall, the Ambassador gave us the same impression of being “functional” but definitely not a lounge where you can chill or enjoy quality food. As with our previous recommendation, skip Ambassador Transit Lounges if possible!
