There are many step wells all across India. Although the Step Well we visited is not as famous as the Chand Baori Step Well, we were still able to see the architectural brilliance of the step well structure. With the steps, villagers were able to access the underground fresh water, have a water storage facility and also have a beautiful series of steps that allows access. Ingenuity!

You can experience all of these at Taj Rambagh Palace Hotel. Celebrities from all over the world visit and stay at the Taj Rambagh. During our visit to the Verandah Cafe for afternoon tea, we also noticed many other guests checking us out (while we did likewise) – a common “activity” at Taj Rambagh to suss out if there are any famous personalities or celebrities within the hotel’s premise.
