We supported this campaign because Superhero Me is actually a non-profit inclusive arts movement that arms children from special needs and less privileged communities with creative confidence. This box set of four games which pack fun, personality and aspiration, is the result of their year-long effort to share a perspective inspired by the people and places they grew up with.”
In this box set, there are 4 games:
1. House of Cats. A fast-paced memory-matching game to find missing cats. For 2 to 4 players. (Ages 5+)
2. Market Blitz. A competitive card game to build a dream business empire. For 3 to 6 players (Ages 8+)
3. Swank Tank. A cooperative game to assemble fish tanks without scum. For 4 to 6 players (Ages 13+)
4. Unleased. A part game of persuasion and sabotage with dogs. For 6 to 12 players (Ages 10+)

House of Cats – First Class Box Set Games from Superhero Me
Backstory of House of Cats
Each of the 4 games has a backstory and in House of Cats, Shahanis accidentally left her door unlocked and all 9 of her cats have escaped. Our role is to help match pairs of cards to help Shahanis find her cats. However, there will be household chores and stray birds that will distract you along the way. The winner is the one who matches and brings home the most cats.
House of Cats Game Mechanics
House of Cats is actually a cards matching, memory game with a twist. In the olden days, what we’d usually do is to get a pack of poker cards, face them down and attempt to find matching cards. The concept in House of Cats is similar but INFINITELY MORE FUN! First of all, card positions can be changed and this makes the game a little more challenging than static positions. There are also other cards that allow players to sabotage one another such as opening the first card, steal a peak or reveal entire rows/columns. These actions definitely make the game so much more interesting and sets the stage for schemes and of course, much laughter! 😆
Verdict on House of Cats
First off, Kate really love the colour of the box and the cards! There were lots of “oohs” and “aahs” as we opened the box and unpacked the cards. Although House of Cats seems like a conventional memory game, it is most definitely NOT. Some strategising comes into play on when action cards should be used. That adds another dimension to this beautifully crafted game. To conclude, we LOOOOVE this game and give it 5 stars out of 5. Definitely bringing it on many of our travels in the future!

The game is about collecting resources such as grocery, tech, fashion, sports and pets to meet demanding customers such as fashionista, influencer and tech heads. Your aim is to collect as many customers (each customer has a point allocated to it), the player with the most points win. However, there are twists to the game. Even after matching the resources to the customers, you may lose a shop if you have not insured against events such as the stock market crash. Also, there is a time limit set on each turn, making it even harder to make fast and sound decisions as the seconds go by…
Verdict on Market Blitz
We love the idea of the game and of course the cool terms that are used in the game. The game itself is not difficult but the time limit does make it challenging as to what move to make next. If you’re looking for a quick game that is not too difficult to learn and play, Market Blitz is definitely one of the 2 (along with House of Cats) in the First Class box set games.
Swank Tank – First Class Box Set Games from Superhero Me

Brandvan (not a spelling mistake) and Alfred are two pet fish enthusiasts in Lengkok Bahru who are racing against time to build and maintain the cleanest fish tanks for their colourful fish. However, many mishaps throw them off their fish-keeping journey and scum keep filling up their tanks!
Swank Tank Game Mechanics
If you’ve ever played the game Pandemic, Swank Tank is pretty much modelled after the same concept – but cuter! Players work together as one team, to equip tanks with air stone, fish food and filter while ensuring that the scum does not build up and kill the fish within the tank. Difficulty level can be set according to the experience level of the players so beginners can also learn the ropes while experienced players can kick it up a notch.
Verdict on Swank Tank
Swank Tank is a game of strategy and cooperation among players. This means you’re playing together and not against each other like most other conventional board games. There will be quite alot of thinking and planning involved to make sure that each player’s turn is maximised so as to equip the tanks and keep scum level at bay. If you’re a player looking for a kick in analytical thinking, Swank Tank is definitely the game for you!

Unleashed is sort of a cross between murderer and saboteur. In this game, you’ll try your very best to find out who are the “School Bully” and “Upstairs Neighbour” who are secretly voting against the kids by unleashing dogs on them! Some special characters have unique abilities such as the “Estate Cleaner” who can know the secret identity of the bullies while the “MP” can vote twice! At the end of each day, players will come together for discussion and find out who may possibly be the School Bully (aka “murderer”) while School Bully will secretly vote against the kids (aka “saboteur”) yet still feigning innocence during those discussions. 😅
Verdict on Unleashed
Unleashed is a super fun game for a large party! Can almost hear the laughter while innocent Students belt out “Not me not me!” and some School Bullies sow cords of distrust by saying “You’re confirm the School Bully lah!” 🤣 Another excellent game designed by First Class!
