Tom Overflow Bar was where we stopped by after a trip to Jewel this weekend. Following the signs from Jewel to Hub & Spoke, we headed towards Terminal 2 and was able to easily reach Overflow Bar after exiting the terminal. There, we walked through the carpark and a short sheltered path way and eventually arrived at Hub & Spoke Cafe, opposite Overflow Bar.
About Overflow Bar at Hub & Spoke Changi
Overflow Bar is a great venue for cocktails and beers coupled with live music. The cool thing about Overflow Bar is that they support local bands by having live music daily from 7:30pm Tuesday through Thursdays, and 8:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Hub & Spoke has also traditionally been a rest stop for bikers who ride towards Changi while passing through the Changi Jurassic Mile – where you’ll be able to see giant dinosaurs such as T-rex on a bike/jog trail. Hence, with Overflow Bar, bikers also have an alternative venue to chill and just have a refreshing beer.
This time, we enjoyed the Asahi deal at Overflow Bar…
1-for-1 Asahi at Overflow Bar for $14++
For $14++, we were able to enjoy 2 full pints of cold, refreshing Asahi beer at Overflow Bar. This is relatively affordable. This deal is available all day on Sundays & Mondays as well as till 7pm from Tuesdays to Saturdays (when the live music is on!).
There are also ongoing deals at Overflow Bar such as the recently concluded Oktoberfest of $58 beer towers all day as well.
As it was about 5pm during the time of our visit and was still relatively hot, we were able to enjoy the cool comforts of air-conditioning indoors – though there were limited seats indoors. However, you’ll also notice that as the night begins, the “reservations” signs would be placed on tables indoors and there would also be a minimum spending on those tables as well. Hence, it would be very popular when the live music commences in the evenings. Make sure you make those reservations before you go!
